Provides groceries, perishable food, cereal, and more is served to the working poor as well as families living in poverty through the Joseph’s Warehouse Food Bank located at both of the South campus and DFMI Buford. Joseph’s Warehouse is equipped by the donations of our members and local supporters to supply food and some clothing items for individuals in need. They currently distribute food and other grocery items to Jonesboro and surrounding communities.

Hearts to Nourish Hope’s Food Pantry serves over 1300 families per month, providing year-round food assistance. The food pantry gives our students a chance to put their new skills into realistic practice in a safe environment where they can learn from their successes and their mistakes. It also gives the youth a chance to be held accountable, develop empathy and self-esteem and give back to the community. Email them at: hearts@heartstonourishhope.org

To provide services that minimize the impact of mental illness in the lives of individuals served while supporting their inclusion in the community. The program serves individuals 18 years and older with a mental health diagnosis; and individuals 18 years old who are currently in high school must utilize the Children, Young Adults, & Families Program until they graduate from high school.  Once graduated, if continued services are warranted, the individual can be referred to the Adult Counseling Program.

Clayton Center’s Addictive Diseases Program has multi-faceted treatment services for individuals who require structure and support to achieve and sustain recovery. These services are designed to evaluate and treat addictive diseases and co-occurring mental health disorders. All individuals, eighteen years or older, and residents of Clayton County, applying for the Addictive Disease Program, with or without co-occurring mental health problems, will receive an assessment of their physiological, cognitive, emotional, social, and environmental functioning.
